The Mission of the Benton Park Dog Park is to foster positive community engagement by providing a safe, fenced environment for owners and their dogs to exercise, socialize, and train. It is our aim to promote responsible pet ownership.
In February of 2017, a small but passionate group of Benton Park residents began laying the groundwork for what will be the Benton Park Dog Park @ Fremont Park. The Benton Park Dog Park Committee lovingly refer to the park as “The BPDP”. The park would not exist without the generous support of our neighbors, the BPDP committee, and Alderman Dan Guenther.
